Block Tests 1 Round-Up

Got IH back on Monday, so I have all my block test 1 scores now. Test analysis:

● = Good (relative to previous scores, personal expectations etc)
● = Sort of Good (relative to class median/mean scores)
● = Average (relative to class median/mean scores)
● = Pretty Bad (relative to personal expectations)
● = Poor (relative to everything)

Math: 50/60 ●
Chinese: 72.5/110 ●
Language Arts: 23/30 ●
Physics: 57/60 ●
Chemistry: 50/60 ●
Biology: 55/60 ●
Integrated Humanities: 10/16 ● (is actually ●, but whatever)
AEP (Study of Visual Art): 25/30 ●

Got sympathy marks (L3!) for last question. I wish we could just drop Social Studies/equivalent (IH) and do Geography or something. Geog is the best subject evar in terms of exam full-mark confidence. I fail at humanities lol.

Languages average as usual. I guess I was lucky we didn’t have summary or I might have died. Chinese paper sucked as per normal. 2 hours for 4 comprehensions? And a cloze? And a summary? You’ve got to be kidding me. (Sadly, they aren’t, seeing as I’ve been doing them for the past three years)

AEP was surprisingly not-as-bad-as-I-anticipated (I thought I’d get around 21-23 because I was rushing and wrote rubbish for the last question) and if my sources are accurate, second-highest in class so yay. I need to learn how to write faster. Write faster and maintain handwriting standards.

Sciences was quite all right. I topped class for Bio hooray. Lost marks in Physics couldn’t be helped (genuine mistake, not careless). Chem, well, I don’t like Chem but at least I tried.

I should just run off and become a biologist or something. But then again I’d have to kill lab rats (described in graphic detail to me by my…relative, a biologist) with my bare hands. D:
